Kmag aka "Knowledge Magazine" in UK has produced a mix by CONSEQUENCE, who is currently working on his second album, following up to his 2009 release from dBRIDGE's Exit Records.

Although the tracklisting of is not available, though, the mix is tight enough to check out, with dope, atmospheric drum'n'bass tracks.

Following to the previous entry, two great mix by RUCYL, known as 1/2 of SATURN NEVER SLEEPS, has been released as the podcasts on their website. No. 16 is the segment of a live DJ set at the SATURN NEVER SLEEPS Live Monthly Experiment in May, while No. 17 is  another live DJ set in June. Both sets are dope enough: the former is so mellow, experimental, electronic and dubby while the latter is rather soulful and funky. The tracklistings are available below.

"Black History Month MIZELL BROTHERS Mix" for BBC 1Xtra by 4HERO [Mix]

ALPHONSO “FONCE” MIZELL (1943-2011) - Rest in peace.

Sad news for music lovers: ALPHONSO “FONCE” MIZELL of the legendary MIZELL BROTHERS has passed away. No details are found, though, it's true. So sad.

Of cource, he's 1/2 of the legendary brothers known as the ones behind the classic songs by the artists such as JACKSON 5, DONALD BYRD, BOBBI HUMPHREY, GARY BARTZ, etc.

On October 6th, 2006, DEGO and MARC MAC of 4HERO has mixed the works of the great MIZELL BROTHERS works for the Black History Month of BBC 1Xtra. The details of the show is on BBC website. Although the mix was not new, the beauty of the music is timeless.

Following to the previous entry, the second volume of "Lovers Melt" mix by FLYING LOTUS has been released. Not archived as a volume of the Stones Throw podcast because it's too long? Maybe. In fact, the mix is consisted of over 2 hours of the soul classics everybody knows and loves, such as the tracks by CURTIS MAYFIELD, GEORGE DUKE, WILLIAM DEVAUGHN, etc.

Just like last 2 entries, "Summertime 2" mixed by MICK BOOGIE & DJ JAZZY JEFF and "Summer 2011 Promo Mix" by BLU MAR TEN & INSIDEINFO, sounds so good in this season.
