Following to the "MICHAEL JACKSON - The Soulful Years" mixed by DJ JAYCEE, there are two wonderful mixes of the great music by MICHAEL JACKSON.

The first one was released in 2010 and mixed by J. PERIOD featuring classic hits in collaboration with SPIKE LEE and his 40 Acres.

The volume two is just released this month, as to promote "Brooklyn Loves MJ" in Prospect Park on Aug 27, presented by J. PERIOD, DJ SPINNA, SPIKE LEE and his 40 Acres featuring rare tracks, unreleased, live takes and remixes.

AYAH, on the other hand, delivers melodic vocals on the tracks. The result is, as you can easily guess, a great soul music album.

The brand new mix by FLYING LOTUS featuring the works of THUNDERCAT, the bass player who has always been behind the great tracks by the artists such as FLYING LOTUS himself, ERYKAH BADU, etc.

The mix features some old, some new and even some unreleased materials and is released as the prelude of THUNDERCAT's forthcoming debut album, "The Golden Age of Apocalypse", which is  produced by FLYING LOTUS and due to be out on 30th Aug from Brainfeeder. Simply it's a wonderful showcase to know how great the works by THUNDERCAT are.

Found a wonderful mix in SoundCloud: a live mix by DJ MITSU THE BEATS.

DJ MITSU THE BEATS, the producer of Japanese hip hop unit called GAGLE, is highly-acclaimed as a producer / track maker / DJ for his solo works.

The mix was recorded live at Wah Wah on, Oct 18, 2008, featuring the dope soul, funk, jazz, etc. The mix is not new, though, it still sounds so fresh.

Following to the previous entry, oki-ni presents "LOVEWITHSOUND", here's another mix by TOKiMONSTA, known as a member of highly-acclaimed Brainfeeder crew. This one is for RA (Resident Advisor).

According to her comments, she did the mix with Ableton Live at a Starbucks(!), featuring the tracks by the artists like FLYING LOTUS, SAMIYAM, DAEDELUS, TOKiMONSTA herself, DJ KRUSH, TORTOISE, etc.
