In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the release of the Incredible Bongo Band‘s classic debut LP "Bongo Rock" and its follow up "The Return of The Incredible Bongo Band", Mr Bongo and WhoSampled have put together the exclusive mixtape so as to promote the releases of 40th Anniversary editions of both albums (plus there's a competition as well).

The mix by Chris Read featuring tracks by Incredible Bongo Band and also the classic tracks containing the samples, such as "Suspended in Time" by Group Home, "Hip Hop Is Dead" by Nas feat Will I Am, "Break Dance Electric Boogie" by West Street Mob, "Men At Work" by Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, "Thought at Work" by the Roots, "Who Are The Pimps?" by Boogie Down Productions, "Inner City Life" by Goldie etc.
